Meet INKCLOUD at Formnext 2026: 3D Printing Filament Manufacturing and Material Applications

EricaErica

At Formnext Expo & Convention 2026, INKCLOUD will showcase its comprehensive range of 3D printing filaments and manufacturing capabilities in Frankfurt.

From material development and formulation to automated extrusion, quality inspection and print testing, INKCLOUD manages key stages of the manufacturing process to deliver reliable filament products. Four featured filament—PLA Pure, ASA, TPU 95A and PEBA—highlight the diverse filament properties and application possibilities across the INKCLOUD portfolio.

Join us on 17–20 November 2026, at Messe Frankfurt, Hall 12.0, Stand 120-G58, to meet our team and explore the filaments.

Manufacturing Behind the INKCLOUD Brand

Based in Zhuhai, China, INKCLOUD develops and manufactures 3D printing filaments through integrated material development, production and quality control operations.

Our manufacturing facility spans more than 15,000 square meters, with over 60 production lines supporting standard orders and customized projects.

In-house filament development and print testing support our product range. Customization options extend to materials, colors, filament specifications, spools and packaging, allowing our team to work with partners on established products and new requirements.

From Material Selection to Finished Spools

Production begins with the careful selection and evaluation of raw materials. Filament formulation plays a key role in determining the filament's printing performance, color characteristics and suitability for different applications.

Automated extrusion lines produce the filament, with diameter monitoring during production. The filament is then wound onto spools for subsequent inspection and packing.

For customized projects, material, color, spool and packaging requirements are reviewed during sampling. The customer-approved sample and agreed specifications provide a shared reference for production.

Quality Checks Throughout Production

INKCLOUD’s quality control process covers incoming materials, in-process production and finished products.

Batch checks include filament diameter, color, moisture content and printing performance. Dimensional inspection and color verification are complemented by moisture checks and practical print testing.

Our in-house printing facilities allow the team to examine filament behavior and printed results during product development and quality control. Finished orders are inspected against the agreed specifications before packing and shipment.
