TPU Hardness Explained

- 85A – Very soft and highly flexible, but more challenging to print.
- 90A – A good balance of flexibility and printability.
- 95A – The most common grade for desktop 3D printing, offering an excellent balance of flexibility, durability, and ease of printing.
If you're printing TPU for the first time, 95A is generally the best place to start. It works well on most modern direct-drive printers and can also be printed on some well-tuned Bowden systems, although direct-drive extruders typically deliver more consistent results.
